Latest reviews of Staccal app for iPhone and iPad

Poor
Why on each page of the day calendar there is always the same date namely and strangely in my case the date of the app purchase, the 8 August?! A calendar with the wrong day date... You cannot be serious! Deleled!
Rapid Event Creation ???? Look at Calvetica
Rapid Event Creation ???? Look at Calvetica..that´s rapid Event Creation. Don´t know how long it will take, that people realize that creating events with that wheel is not the best way. Nevertheless, event templates are a real good. nice idea !
Pretty Good
Nice display options which are highly customizable. Easy to use and seems reliable. Its weakness (like many calendar apps) is the reliance on iOS notifications.
Awesomeness!!
Very good and customizable calander. Zoom on the month display is great! Would be cool if it was horizontal and vertical, but its good anyway. Added holidays with a simple tap. Looking forward to any updates.
Excellent, information-dense, flexible calendar
I love Staccal. Its the first iOS calendar Ive really felt good about. Though its a little clunky in some ways and badly translated into English, it does a few valuable things that make it unique (as far as I can tell): (1) it packs an enormous amount of data — real information, not colored dots — into a very small amount of space (especially on retina displays where the font size can get small), and (2) it provides a very flexible set of views from which you can pick the ones that best suit your needs; and (3) it does all this without looking terrible or becoming unusable. In my setup, I mainly use a day planner view, a week-at-a-glance layout, a grid of the current month, and a searchable agenda-style list. Some of these views become cluttered, the monthly grid especially, but I like it that way, because unlike with other calendars I can get a pretty good idea at a glance what is going on on any given day; and if I need to see more detail, tap-and-hold brings up a popup to provide it. Creating entries is straightforward as well. This isnt a newbies calendar, but if youre not satisfied with other calendars, and if you dont mind tweaking settings a bit to get the behavior you want, then I strongly recommend that you check out Staccal. The developers have been very quick to make improvements and fix bugs — a particularly nasty crash bug, which prevented me from rating the app highly when I first installed it, was patched in the next update. Since then, updates have simplified the UI configuration and fixed more problems. If they keep this pace up I would expect the app to improve steadily from here, and its already pretty terrific.
